She was predeceased by : her parents, William Bishop and Julia Smith; and her daughter Melissa Best. She is survived by : her daughter Karen Maier (Jerry); her granddaughters, Mallorie Parrish Fishbaugh (Drew), Katherine Howenstein (Brian) and Abby Russell (Sean); and her great grandchildren, Liesl Howenstein, Marianne Howenstein, Beckham Fishbaugh, Everlie Fishbaugh, George Russell and Sam Russell.
