It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Cartmel of Carmel, Indiana, born in Astoria, New York, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Cartmel; her parents, Harry Kramer and Doris Kramer; and her sisters, Judith Kramer and Carol Kramer.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Justice (Greg), Debra Marquardt (Jack), Diane Rapp (Murray), Kevin Schroepfer (Lauren), Todd Cartmel (Eva), Tyler Cartmel (Jessica) and Travis Cartmel (Lauren); her grandchildren, Alex (Ashley), Kristen (Cole), Sean (Alyssa), Nicole (Noah), Cooper, Kylie, Payton, Brooke (Thomas), Blake, Madeline, Hannah, Natalie, Tucker, Kinsey, Olivia, Graham and Savannah; her great grandchildren, Maya, Mason, Nolan, Ty, Lorelei, Rowan and Jubilee; and her siblings, Harry Kramer, Louis Kramer (Joanne), Dorie Hidalgo (John) and John Kramer (Marica). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
