She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scott and Pauline Scott; her husband Robert Gadberry; her daughter Deborah Gadberry; and her siblings, Jan Burchard and Danny Scott.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Straw (Lowell); her granddaughters, Karen Darnaby (Moises Corona) and Kristen Darnaby; her great grandchildren, Lily, Landon and Jackson Smith; her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Mbanu (Chico), Kelly Stewart (Quincy), Langston and Zora Stewart; Adanna and Akagha Mbanu.
