She was predeceased by: her husband James Alan Rubush; and her parents, Norman Thompson and Patricia Thompson (McLaughlin). She is survived by: her children, Christopher Todd Rubush of Bloomington, Tiffany Michelle Rubush of Council Bluffs and Tara Marisa Washington of Carmel, Indiana.; her son-in-law Christopher Lee Washington; her grandsons, Jaxson Lee Washington and Bodhi Lee Washington; and her siblings, Mike Thompson, Debbie Donoghue, Kevin Thompson, Tim Thompson and Katrina Reed. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Francis and Clare of Assisi (5901 W Olive Branch Rd, Greenwood, IN 46143).
