It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cindy Merrill of Carmel, Indiana, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Allen and Ann Allen (VanHorn); her brother Bill Allen; her uncle Ken VanHorn; and her significant other Mark Schmutzler.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Chris Hotze (Rebekkah); her niece Ana Shaw; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Weston and Avery; her cousin Elizabeth Fall (Randy); her son Dr. Brian Schmutzler (Alicia); and her grandsons, Robby and Cole.
