We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2023, at the age of 87, Dean H. Dorton of Carmel, Indiana, born in Goodland, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald B. Dorton and Ardis Pearl Dorton (Hood); and his sisters, Marilyn Heistand, Marcelyn Goetz and Connie Blankenship.

He is survived by : his children, Michael and Christine.

Memorial contributions may be made in Dean's name to American Legion Post 280, The American Cancer Society or to Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.
