He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Haas and Elsie Haas (King). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Haas (Brinson); his sons, Michael Joseph (Lisa), Mark Earl (Barbara) and Matthew Craig (Heather); his grandchildren, Michael (Emma), Madison Barnett (Andy), Bailey, Peyton, Adare, Joya and Nixon; his great grandchild Patrick Joseph; his siblings, Gary (Sheila), Vicki Simpson and Ronnie (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, Pat, Ken and Gail Brinson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
