He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Jones (Bannister) and Eli Elwood Jones; his wife Alice Padgett; his son Michael Jones; his son-in-law Steve Spradley; his grandson Andrew Padgett; and his siblings, Maude, Lawrence, Pharabe, Harold, Donald, DeSylvia, Agnes, Vida Mae, Mary Madeline and Lois.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Spradley, Julie Jones, Tom Padgett (Kim) and Jerry Padgett (Karen); his daughter-in-law Sandy Jones; his grandchildren, Ashley Davidson-Lam (Chun), Kellina Avnet (Ary), Lauren Spradley-Collins (Brandon), Lisa Bovenizer (Rick), Kristen Wells (Matt), Nathaniel Padgett (Samantha) and Katie Padgett; and his great grandchildren, Ellis Lam, Vivienne, Isabelle Avnet, Luke Bovenizer, Hudson, Sawyer Wells, Paige Hardman, Alice, Zoey Padgett and Maverick Padgett.
