She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter (Dora Oleksiuk) and Manitoba; her husband Jack Lessie; and her son Kenneth Lessie. She is survived by : her son Lawrence Lessie (Kelli) of Temecula, California; her grandchildren, Kimberly Donaldson (Charles) of Carmel, Indiana, Jennifer Green (Edwin) of Westfield, Indiana, Reegan Lessie of Carlsbad, California, Jamie Lessie of Temecula and Jake Lessie (Whitney) of Vista, California.; her great grandchildren, Emily Cardwell (Nathan) of Noblesville, Indiana, Sarah Ortiz (Michael) of Carmel Indiana and Max Lessie of California; her great great grandchild Violet Ortiz of Indiana; and her siblings, Nick of Canada, Marge of Canada, Ethel of Canada, Rose of Canada and Danny of Canada.

She continued to quilt until this year and never stopped donating charity quilts to the homeless, mothers-in-need and more.
