He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Merrill and Lillian Merrill (Mathews); and his siblings, Beverly Merrill, Rosie Ramsey, Charlene Jones and Steve Merrill.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Burgan of Carmel; and his children, Kimberly Scheerer of Fishers and Andrew Merrill of Avon.
