George Pappas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 82, George Pappas (Carmel, Indiana) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Pappas to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary; his children, Alexandra (Eric Johnson), Katherine (Jack Adams) and Jamie (Jon Rangel); and his grandchildren, Zoe, Jacquie and Jack George.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral (3500 W 106th St, Carmel, IN 46032). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250).
