He was predeceased by: his wife Valera; and his daughter Karen Taff (Joe). He is survived by: his sons, Gregg (Bonnie) and Bruce (Jackie). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was deeply involved in community pursuits including the Indianapolis Rotary Club, Carmel United Methodist Church, Carmel Education Foundation and Carmel Library Board.
