Jack A. Houtman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack A. Houtman of Carmel, Indiana, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jack departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jack. Though Jack may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Houtman and Henrietta Houtman; and his siblings, Carol Loher and David Houtman. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Sue Grassley (Dave) of Monroe, Bruce Houtman (Diane) of Westfield and Alan Houtman (Holly) of Milford, Michigan; and his brother Paul Houtman of Holland, Michigan.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
