We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 84, John A. Dearth (Carmel, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Dearth and Susan "Betty" Dearth (Rice); and his brothers, Bob, Dick and Don.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Lee Dearth (Marquardt); his children, Krista (Oakley) and John; his grandson Josh (Hunk); and his sister Elizabeth (Betty) McBurney (Harlan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (10655 Haverstick Rd, Carmel, IN 46033). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (10655 Haverstick Rd., Carmel, IN 46033).

In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to: Women's Care Center (4901 W. 86th Street.
