He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger W. Sr. Speidel and Eleanor Speidel; and his brother Roger W. Speidel, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Eleanor J. Smith (Kenton), Lesley Smith, John L. Speidel, Jr. (Kelly), William R. Speidel (Sarah) and Ann S. Kaiser (John); his grandchildren, Connor, Olivia Smith, Kayley, Matthew Featherston, Allison, Emily Speidel, William, Julia Speidel, Emma, Jack and Michael Kaiser; and his great grandchild Gabriella Wheatley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodland Christmas Club for Needy Children or Blackford Baptist Temple in Hartford City, IN.
