As Marietta departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Marietta. Though Marietta may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Clagg and Vicie Clagg; and her husband Howard Young. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Young (Susan) and Tom Young (Kelly); and her granddaughters, Mallory Thompson (Andrew), Emily Haynes (Scott) and Molly Young. She is also survived by three step-granddaughters; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to RiceNBeans.org, a ministry to the homeless which she loved, or to CarmelHills.org, where she was lovingly cared for in her final days.
