With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Myrtle Bennett of Carmel, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Norma Jean Senn, Wanda Melvina Wright, Birdie Joyce Senn and Travis Eldon Baker; and her father Melvin Earl Baker.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Donald Dean Bennett; her children, Kim Trana Bennett Harting (Larry Alan Harting), Lisa Ann Bennett and Donald Scott Bennett (Jill Shelton Bennett); her grandchildren, Jessica Skipworth Valentino (Matt Valentino), Dr. Jacob Bennett Skipworth (Lily Guerrero), Andrew Baker Skipworth, Dr. Tyler Bennett (Allie Downey Bennett), Abbie Bennett, Leyton Bennett and Jaxen Bennett; her great grandchildren, Millie Bennett, Hudson Skipworth, James Valentino and Jordan Valentino; her sister Marjorie Johnson of Noblesville; and her mother Alice Minerva Sauerheber Baker.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the University of Southern Indiana Foundation for the Dr. Donald and Jane Bennett Scholarship Endowment, 8600 University Blvd. Evansville, IN 47712.
