With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond V. Sands of Carmel, Indiana, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Sands and Helen Sands; his stepfather Calvin Hubbell, Jr.; and his sister Carrie Kitchen. He is survived by : his wife Connie Sands; his daughters, Kristi Van Sickle (Paul) and Jill Sands; his grandchildren, Cala Ochs (Kevin), Sofia Ray Van Sickle, Lauren Van Sickle and Matthew Van Sickle; and his great grandchildren, Kameryn, Lincoln and Luna.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (325 E Carmel Dr, Carmel, IN 46032). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
