Retha Shannon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Retha Shannon in Carmel, Indiana, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael; her parents, Lacy Bailey and Zula Bailey; her siblings, Junior, Curtis, Emmett, Violet, Stella, Beatrice and Betty; and her daughter Sharon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Norma and Leland; her sons, Brian (Jayma) and Bradley (Cindy); her grandchildren, Michelle, Casey, Kevin, Ryan and Brandon; and her great grandchildren, Elliott and Liam. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Retha's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
