Robert Holsten Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Holsten (Carmel, Indiana) is shared. Robert, born on September 9, 1935, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Strater; his parents, Clarence Holsten and Pearle Johnson Holsten (Mary Strater Holsten); his daughter Stacy Holsten Hutson; his sister Shirley; and his brother-in-law Dwight Larson.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Holsten (Donna), Sara Clark and Alison Bond (Rick); his son-in-law Steve Hutson; his grandchildren, Brad Holsten, Bobby Clark (Edu), Megan Clark, Alie Hutson, Jorie Hutson (Ken), Alexandra Villa (Brandon), Nick Klepinger, Madalyn Klepinger, Elaina Rubio (Jonny), Chloe Pray (Tanner) and Luke Bond; and his great grandchildren, Addi, Riley, Bennet Holsten, Finley, Luca, Vincent Villa, Fiona Klepinger and Francesca Rubio.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carmel United Methodist Church (621 S Rangeline Rd, Carmel, IN 46032). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM and from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM.
