He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Newcomb and Martha Newcomb; and his sisters, Mary Gergel of Virginia and Ann Wright. He is survived by: his wife Jane Newcomb; his daughters, Amy Musser (Jonathan), Cassie Hicks (Dennis) and Elizabeth Baxter (Arthur); and his grandchildren, Daniel Hicks (Rachel), Jason Musser, Steven Baxter, Benjamin Hicks, Elise Musser, Madelyn Baxter and Jonathan Hicks.
