We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 102, Ruth Edith O'Banion (Carmel, Indiana), born in Loogootee, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. O'Banion; and her children, Robert M. O'Banion, Timothy O'Banion and Trish Erwin. She is survived by: her children, Kathy O'Banion, Char Curley and Laura McConnell (Jerry). She is also survived by six children; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
