He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent P. Truax and Margaret Welsh Truax; his stepmother Emma Trautwein Truax; his daughter Elizabeth Marie Truax; his brother Terence James Truax; and his sister-in-law Janet Truax.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Brennan of Martins Ferry, Ohio.; his children, Vincent P. Truax III (Kristy) and Julie Anne Saxe (James); his grandchildren, Sean Dalby Truax, Kari Truax Minnich, Kelly Johnson Truax, Justin David Saxe and Sara Brennan Eppler; his great grandchild Myles Paul Minnich; and his brother Dennis Ryan Truax (Nora). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church (10655 Haverstick Rd., Carmel, IN 46033).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor in Indianapolis.
