It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn L. Winters of Carthage, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn L. Winters to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Engle Q. Shields and Leona D. Shields; and her siblings, Bud, Bobbie, Harry, Ray, Jack, Bill and Jim.
She is survived by: her significant other Robert L. Winters; her children, Ric Winters (Diane) of Carthage, Rob Winters (Jennifer) of Carthage, Dr. Ron Winters (Marla) of Rushville and Diana White (Mark) of Carthage; and her grandchildren, Allison Winters, Ross Winters, Nic Winters, Aaron Winters, Dr. Jamie Morgan, Andrew Winters and Dr. AJ Winters. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
