It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melanie Gray of Carthage, Indiana, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Adean and Greta Addison (McClain); her husband James "Jim" B. Gray; and her son Harold Gray. She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Gray of Carthage; her grandchildren, Scot Gray (Katie), Alex Gray (Emily), Kyle Gray, Cody Gray and Mary Gray; her great grandchildren, Hayden, Layla, Madi, Kendall, Harlan, Lucus and Rowen; and her brother Dean Addison (Linda) of Carthage. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to a favorite wildlife charity or organization supporting disabled veterans.
