She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Doreen Cates; and her granddaughter Zoey. She is survived by: her daughters, Delta Cooper (Randy Rockey) of Carthage, Doreen Cates (Michael Brickles) of Greenfield, Paula Dockery (Bryan) of Spiceland and Stormy Cates of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Jordan, Michael, Cienna, Carolynn, Jacob, Devon, Bella, Kaizer, Elijah, Zayden, Gabriella and Serenity; and her siblings, Margie Mayhill of Tennessee and Jake Carr (Jessica) of Brookville. She is also survived by two nieces and four nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Todd Funeral Centre & Crematory (1600 IN-3, Rushville, IN 46173). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery (Carthage, IN 46115).
