He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Myers and Alice Myers (Dowers); and his siblings, Eschol, Elvin, Harold, Kenny, Ethel, Evelyn, Reva Mae and Edna Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Myers (Sherman); his children, Rhonda Tomlinson, Pam Miller (Earl), Cindy Davis (Mike), Greg (Janet) and Jeff (Julie); and his brother Lawrence Jr. (Nancy). He is also survived by Nine Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, 5 Extended Grandchildren, 9 Extended Great Grandchildren.
