With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Freeman Newell of Cayuga, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Freeman departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Freeman may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Freeman leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartsel Newell and Serena Newell (Dickerson); and his brother Hartsel Newell, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Reva V. Newell (Webb); and his siblings, Roy Newell (Chong Im) and Loretta "Lolly" Adams (Norman). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hughes Cemetery (2221 W County Rd 900 N, Perrysville, IN 47974).
