He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Gene and Alma Louise Weir (Allen); his daughter Stephanie Sue Ann Weir; his brother Frederick Stephen Weir; and his brothers-in-law, Randy Wilson and Len Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Leslie Hayman Weir; his children, Michelle Layne of Yelm, WA and Chris Smith (Becca) of Danville, IL.; and his sisters, Susie Wilson of Cayuga, IN. and Debbie Stewart of Cayuga, IN.. He is also survived by 10 grandkids, 4 great grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
