He was predeceased by: his parents, James Epperson and Helen Epperson; and his brothers, Larry Epperson and Terry Epperson. He is survived by: his wife Lola Epperson; his children, Ron Epperson (Jennifer) of Walker's Cay, Jim Strubberg, Ami Epperson and Chasity Johnson (Clay); his grandchildren, Trevor Rennick (Courtney), Blake Epperson (Danielle), Grant Tuggle (Emily), Nate Epperson (Brittany), Layla Strubberg, James Strubberg, Chloe Johnson and Carter Johnson; his great grandchildren, Klaire Rennick, Sapphire Epperson, Peyton Tuggle and Theo Skip Epperson; and his sisters, Nancy Holycross (Charles), Fran Cumbow (Don) and Becky Jones (Kevin).
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Centers Covington Chapel (215 N Division St, Cayuga, IN 47928).
