He was predeceased by: his parents, Margarethe Krieger (Schaden) and Robert Krieger. He is survived by: his wife Debra Krieger (Bruns); his children, Jodie Sczurko (Matt) of Lowell, Erich Krieger (Dolores) of Hobart and Heidi Staley (Nate) of Merrillville; his brother Kurt Krieger (Denise) of Mt. Washington, KY; his grandchildren, Alexis Rohweder, Kherington Staley, Hunter Rohweder and Callen Staley; and his sibling's children, Hannah Dargan (David) of Maumee, OH and Noah Krieger of Mt Washington, KY..
