He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Haak Sr. and Marie Haak (VanDer Aa). He is survived by: his wife Joyce R. Haak (Van Der Weide); his son Doug Van Der (Jennifer); his brothers, Larry Haak (Marla) and Russel Haak (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Zackary Van Der (Delaney), Sarah DeYoung (Josh) and Allison Toler (Michael). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Phil's Friends, a Christian nonprofit organization providing support and hope to those affected by cancer.
