She was predeceased by: her brother Malcolm Peters; and her parents, Wallace Peters and Alida Peters. She is survived by: her husband Louis Costa; her children, Kris Sakelaris (James), Kyle Costa (late Therese), Kelli Lucito (John) and Kara Meyer (Tim); her grandchildren, Matthew Costa, Michael Costa (Danielle) of Bernadette, Sakelaris, Dominic Lucito, Madison Meyer and Jack Meyer; her brother Wallace "Randy" Peters, Jr. (Judith); and her nieces and nephews, Gregory Peters, Anthony Costa, Phyllis Fleming and Deneen Costa.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lost Marsh Golf Course (1001 129th St, Hammond, IN 46320).
