He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eleanor Murphy, Marilyn Prystalski, Shirley Bielenberg and James Ward. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Deborah Melendez (John) and Tracy Jankowski (Tim); his grandchildren, William Smith (Kourtney Surane), Garret Smith, Cameron Jankowski (Angelica Oropeza), Elyssa Degand (Stanley), Brianna Geringer (Kyle) and Alexandria Jankowski; his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Kaysen, Jaxson and Gage; and his brother Robert Ward (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home and Crematory (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303). A prayer was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
