He is survived by: his wife Tammie Swan (Maatman); his children, Paige Wories (Ryan), Hayley Jabaay (Dave) and Dallas Zylstra (Zach); his grandchildren, Oliver, Graham, Jensen Wories, Palmer, Sutton, Navy Jabaay, Makenna, Easton, Oakley, Baker and Baby Zylstra; his parents-in-law, Rodger Sr. and Sharon Maatman; his siblings, Penny Kukulski (Dan) and Jackie Petrelli (Joe); and his siblings-in-law, Todd Maatman (Mary Kay), Troy Maatman (Rebecca), Robin Maatman, Rodger Jr. Maatman (Cheryl) and Roxanne Panek (Ted).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home (2121 Pleasant Springs Ln, Dyer, IN 46311). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crete Protestant Reformed Church (1777 E Richton Rd, Crete, IL 60417).
