With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Nassenstein of Cedar Lake, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Nassenstein to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Judith Nassenstein; his son John D. Nassenstein; and his parents, Peter Nassenstein and Margaret Nassenstein (Knol). He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Smit); his children, Cheri Kohut (Mark) and Rick Nassenstein; his child-in-law Shannon Caban (Kris); and his grandchildren, Hayley Borowski-Campbell, Dimitri Nassenstein, Shelby Nassenstein, Annette Caban, Casey Caban, Brianna Caban, Vera Kohut, Peter Kohut, Grace Nassenstein and Nathan Nassenstein.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memory Lane Funeral Home (6305 W Lincoln Hwy Hwy, Crown Point, IN 46307). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memory Lane Memorial Park (6305 W Lincoln Hwy Hwy, Crown Point, IN 46307).
