He is survived by: his children, Jeremy (Mandy), Brandon, Shannon and Joseph III (Madison); the mother of his children Barbara; his grandchildren, Hailey, Leia, Myah, Ariya and Adam; and his sisters, Janice and Joyce (Joe). He is also survived by his nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home and Crematory (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
