Leora (Hawkins) R. Jonason Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leora (Hawkins) R. Jonason of Cedar Lake, Indiana, who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, Robert Jonason (Patty) of Cincinnati, Karl Jonason of Pompano Beach, Florida and Lisa Martin (Mark) of Hebron, Indiana; her grandchildren, Amy, Christine Jonason (Matt Waring), Mark Jr. and Victoria Martin; her great grandchild Liam James Martin; her siblings, Beverly Workman of Winter Garden, Florida and Butch Reich (Phyllis) of Ellenton, Florida; her husband Kyle; her brothers, Lawrence, Fred, Gene and Bob; and her mother Ruth. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the church's buddy-bag program, which provides weekend meals to at-need children in Crown Point schools.
