Richard left this world on July 25, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lou Deno. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Deno (Janice), Katherine Mager, Connie Plukas (Jim), Gregory Deno (Theresa) and Richard Deno (Judy); and his close friends, Bill and Diane Kozlowski. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home and Crematory (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (11000 W 133rd Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Name Cemetery (11000 W 133rd Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303).
