It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Branam of Cedar Lake, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rudy Johnson and Emily Johnson. She is survived by : her daughter Patricia Ann; her son-in-law Joel Haynes; her siblings, Rudy Johnson (Kathleen), Robert Johnson (Carol) and Linda Losiniecki (Leonard); her stepdaughter Carrie Worthington (Art McKenna); her husband Bob; her stepson Clayton Branam; her sister Renee McKenna; her children, Rhonda Haynes, Tammy Couwenhoven (Mike) and Wayne "Tiger" Scott (Jodi); and her grandchildren, Laura Graham (Jimmy), Michael Couwenhoven (Blair), Amy Couwenhoven (Saul Clift), Zachary Haynes (Alexa), Chad Scott, Matthew Couwenhoven, Ashley Scott, Emily Scott and Justin Branam. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services (604 E Commercial Ave, Lowell, IN 46356). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Maplewood Cemetery.
