She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Pilch and Rita Pilch; and her brother Keith Pilch. She is survived by: her husband John Huppenthal Jr.; her children, Jake Huppenthal (Nicole) and Kayla Sawyer (Charles); her grandchildren, Adam, Madelyn, Emily, Charles and Wyatt; and her sister Linda Wolfe.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burdan Funeral Home and Crematory (12901 Wicker Ave, Cedar Lake, IN 46303).
In honor of her reunion with her beloved dogs, Peanut and Tinkerbell, the family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to your local humane society.
