He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Goodman and Leona Goodman (Zehr); his former spouses, Shirley Rose Hoffman and Frances Heeke (Giesler); his wife Preceding; and his siblings, Nancy Eichmiller, Pauline "Sis" Sermersheim, Gene and Ernie Goodman.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Seibert (Deacon Mike) of Dubois, IN; his stepdaughters, Ann Mehringer (Dean) of Dubois, IN, Julie Rasche (Duane) of Dubois, IN, Denise Heeke of Jasper, IN and Lisa Winchell of Jasper, IN; and his sisters, Inez Knies (Dallas) of Jasper, IN and Carol Gehlhausen (Neil).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Celestine Church (6864 IN-64, Eckerty, IN 47116). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial contributions may be made to St. Isidore Parish or to the wishes of the family.
