He is survived by: his daughters, Donna June Carter (Keith) of Centerville, Indiana and Rhonda Jean Steele (Tony) of Centerville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jessica Hope Benham (Cory) of Indianapolis, Joshua Bryan Carter (Chelsea) of Centerville, Jacquelynn Faith Steele of Centerville, Justin Keith Carter of Centerville and Jacob Anthony Steele (Rae) of Centerville, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Ruthie Jean Schubert, Violet Jane Benham, Remy Jade Benham, Haven Jean Carter, Cashlynn June Carter, Cameron Jacob Steele, Ashton James Steele and Mira Juliet Benham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Community Family Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Crown Hill Cemetery (407 Short St, Centerville, IN 47330).
