She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Jackson and Lucy Emily Garrett Ely; her husband William "Bill" R. Walters; and her siblings, Freda Anderson, James Ely and J. B. Ely.
She is survived by : her children, Billy Walters (Dawn) of Richmond, Jackie Walters (Dee) of Greenfield, Cynthia Stephen (Brent) of Kokomo and Candra Gigliotti (Bill) of Fortville, Indiana; and her siblings, Billy Ely, Mandy Dunn, Mary Hawley and Bernice Kimble. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
