The memory of Richard J. Long of Centerville, Indiana, born in Patton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 17, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Long and Mary Shannon Long; and his siblings, Johnny Long, Kathleen Schmidt, Shirley Butcher, Mary Rose Niekamp and Joan Prod.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy K. Chambers Long; his sons, Greg Long (Meda) of Kankakee, Tony Long of San Diego, Steve Long (April) of Tipton and Michael Long (Dacia) of Bolton, Mississippi; and his sisters, Betty Imel of Portland, Rita Long of Fort Recovery, Ohio., Peggy Champ of Fort Recovery, Ohio. and Pat VanTrees of Fort Recovery, Ohio.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
