He is survived by: his children, Monica Beth Via (Ricki) and Thomas Benjamin Woolum; his grandchildren, Desirae Via and Logan Jay Via; his sisters, Patricia Joann Smith (Bill) and Denise Maitlen (John); his sister-in-law Marta Benjamin; and his brother Danny Benjamin (Jennifer Sullivan).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doan and Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (710 N A St, Richmond, IN 47374).
