He was predeceased by: his son Blaine Kanke; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Nancy Minor. He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Kanke and Joyce McNamara Kanke; his wife Vicky Minor Kanke; his daughter Alea Perry (Matt); his grandchildren, Riley Day, Kaylie Perry and Paxton Kanke; his sister Jenny Ryan; his siblings-in-law, Jeff, Alisa Brown, Greg and Chris Minor; his sibling's children, Natalee Brock, Lindsey Baker, Lauren Simpson, Brittany Minor, Andy Minor, Mitchell Minor, Brandon Purden, Tyler Siegel and Alex Cosgrove; Jessica Toschlog.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Doan and Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Earlham Cemetery (1101 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374).
