We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 74, Sammy Wright of Chandler, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wright and Della Wright; his in-law Dorothy Shofner; his siblings, Andrew, Carl (Mildred), Jerry (Joann), Doc Wright (Peggy) and Lidybelle Trent (Oak); his in-laws, Charolette Evans (Ray), James Shofner Jr. (Doc) and Danny Shofner; his nephews, Gary Trent, Tim "Bubba" Evans and Gene Marcum; his close friend Jack Barnett; and his pets, Babi and Honey.
He is survived by: his wife Roxanna; his daughter Thersa Weisman (Tony); his grandchildren, Tiffany Davis (Ben) and Todd Weisman (Abby); his pets, Bucky and Tater-Tot; his sister Linda Skeens (Frank); his in-laws, Mike Shofner (Marilyn), Tony Shofner (Linda), Sandy Shofner and Joyce Shofner; and his close friends, Steve Raibley and Dan Todd.
