He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Sr. Denney and Mary E. Dunaway Denney; his son James E.'Jamie'Denney III; and his siblings, Jimmy, Dene, Bill and June.
He is survived by: his daughter Desiree (Allen Holz); and his grandchildren, Jacob Delaney, Benjamin Delaney (Kaila), Steven Delaney, Lindsey Wise, Morgan Kovacevic (Nihad) and Victoria Robertson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family respectfully requests that expressions of sympathy and love take the form of donations to Grayson Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
