He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Orton and Calvin Orton; his brothers, Danny and Calvin Orton; and his brother-in-law John Springston.
He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Cox (Matt); his grandchildren, Matthew and Bella; his daughter Mindy Baird (Tim); his granddaughter Haley; his son Joshua Novotny; and his grandchildren, Timmy, Drake and Jaden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grayson Funeral Home - Charlestown (893 High St, Charlestown, IN 47111). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
His contributions to his family and community will forever be cherished.
